We are located at 6628 West 66th Street in
Lubbock, Texas. Maps detailing

Membership
Eligibility
To be eligible for membership in The American
Legion, a person must be a veteran of a branch of the U.S. Armed
Forces and have served during a period of war as defined by the
Congress of the United States of America. Eligibility dates are
listed on our membership
application.
You may join the American Legion Auxilary
if you are:
- The mother, wife, sister, daughter,
granddaughter, great-granddaughter, or grandmother of a member of
the American Legion
- A female veteran who served during any of the
conflicts listed on our membership
application
- A member of The American Legion (Yes, women
veterans can join both!)
- The mother, wife, sister, daughter,
granddaughter, great-granddaughter, or grandmother of a deceased
veteran who served during any of the conflicts listed
below.
Eligibility also applies to
step-relatives.
Post
Information
We have a very active Post,involved in a large
number of service activities and offering regular social events for
members. Meeting times are the second and fourth Tuesdays
(second Tuesday- Business meeting, fourth Tuesday- Social.)
Business meeting starts 8:00 pm, Socials at 7:00 pm (dates may
change to allow for Holidays). Our bingo times are:
- Fridays at 7:45 pm
- Saturdays at 7:45 pm
- Sundays at 6:45 pm
Programs/Scholarships
Here are just a few of the ways our members were
still "serving America" last year.
- Needy children and families received more than
$6 million in cash and goods.
- Deserving high school students were awarded
$3.8 million in college scholarships.
- Local charity campaigns received over $10
million in donations.
- Legion members donated over 2 million hours of
service to their communities.
- Legion Posts provided over $2 million in
emergency aid to verterans last year.
- Over $30 million was spent by The American
Legion and its affiliated organizations for the benefit of
children and youth last year.
- Legionaires across the country donate almost 2
million hours each year in the VA's Voluntary Service Program,
helping veterans who are patients in VA medical
facilities.
- The Legion's Family Support Network has helped
thousands of family members of military personnel in the Persian
Gulf in every day needs from simple household repairs to financial
assistance.
