Locating Websites

Key Concepts for Teachers Using Websites:

  1. Pre-select websites for students and embed them in a template file whenever possible (See my Basics page for more on templates and their use.)
  2. When students search online, have them use STUDENT SPECIFIC SEARCH ENGINES first!
  3. You DO NOT have to type "http://" when typing a website address in your web browser!
  4. Use advanced search features (if available) to search for exact phrases, exclude words, etc.
