Jobs of the Future

“By the Year 2005, 60% of the new jobs will

require a level of technological fluency

currently held by only 20% of our current

workers. The top ten jobs that will exist in the

year 2010 do not exist today. We are

preparing our students for jobs that don’t exist,

using technologies that haven’t yet been

invented, to solve problems that we haven’t

even considered yet.”*

Our role as educators should surpass mere

vocational training
